1）設(shè)置永久鏈接
使用永久鏈接結(jié)構(gòu)，確認(rèn)文章標(biāo)題使用了永久鏈接。在WordPress里，可以進(jìn)入控制面板-〉選項(xiàng)-〉Permalinks，然后選擇一種永久鏈接的結(jié)構(gòu)，或者自己定制一種，比如我用的就是/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/（也就是”/年/月/文章名/”)

2) 文章標(biāo)題
網(wǎng)站名字（”Title“，就是一般顯示在瀏覽器標(biāo)題欄的文字）應(yīng)該顯示在當(dāng)前訪問的文章或者頁(yè)面里。比如我的文章標(biāo)題就該是這樣，”WordPress SEO，WP搜索引擎優(yōu)化 ｜ 孩子氣☆孫秀楠寶寶“，在樣式設(shè)置里可以這樣定制，

3）Headers HTML文本標(biāo)記
搜索引擎對(duì)于headers（比如h1，h2，h3等等）要比內(nèi)容更看重。所以寫一個(gè)好的包含關(guān)鍵字的文章標(biāo)題很重要

，當(dāng)然關(guān)鍵字要和文章內(nèi)容匹配。最好是每頁(yè)只用一兩個(gè)h1的HTML標(biāo)記，比如用在Blog的名字上或者最新的文章上。

4）Alt圖像HTML標(biāo)記
給圖片加上alt標(biāo)記，并且確認(rèn)這些標(biāo)記和顯示的內(nèi)容匹配，這會(huì)幫助google圖像搜索引擎或者其它圖像搜索引擎更好工作。

5）使用Tag
Tag逐漸在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)變得越來越重要，使用Tag可以讓文章之間相互關(guān)聯(lián)，可以讓搜索引擎更好的挖掘你的網(wǎng)站。

6）相關(guān)文章
如果你讀了某個(gè)網(wǎng)站一篇文章，你可能會(huì)注意到文章結(jié)尾的”最近文章列表“，這也能幫助搜索引擎更深的挖掘你的網(wǎng)站。

7) 提高網(wǎng)站粘合度
當(dāng)游客從搜索引擎發(fā)現(xiàn)你的網(wǎng)站，他們往往只看關(guān)心的那些內(nèi)容，如果沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)他們尋找的內(nèi)容，就會(huì)把瀏覽器窗口關(guān)掉。為什么不幫他們顯示一些跟他們搜索相關(guān)的文章呢？

8）Google sitemaps
Google有一個(gè)針對(duì)網(wǎng)站站長(zhǎng)的特色內(nèi)容，就是Sitemaps，這幫助Google索引你的網(wǎng)站，判斷網(wǎng)站內(nèi)容的重要程度。

9）Pinging聚合
使用Feed特點(diǎn)，在”選項(xiàng)－>寫作“里，設(shè)置WordPress自動(dòng)ping一些聚合器，這里有一個(gè)ping服務(wù)器的列表。

10）校驗(yàn)HTML標(biāo)記
確認(rèn)你的網(wǎng)站是HTML語(yǔ)法正確的，這也許對(duì)于SEO并不很重要，但多少會(huì)加分。可以使用這里的服務(wù)：

11）需要避免的內(nèi)容
Google說網(wǎng)站應(yīng)該注意以下內(nèi)容：
* 避免隱藏文本或者隱藏鏈接
* 不要使用偽造的或者欺騙的超鏈接。
* 不要發(fā)自動(dòng)搜索給Google。
* 不要用不相關(guān)的詞語(yǔ)來顯示頁(yè)面。
* 不要在網(wǎng)頁(yè)里放病毒、木馬以及流氓軟件。
* 不要建立多個(gè)頁(yè)面、子域名、域名來重復(fù)內(nèi)容。
* 避免針對(duì)搜索引擎建立”入口大全“頁(yè)面或者對(duì)原創(chuàng)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行重定向。
* 針對(duì)搜索引擎Rank提高而使用一些違規(guī)的技巧

12）得到返回鏈接
寫給你的朋友或者其它blogger，與他們交換鏈接。這樣得到一個(gè)鏈接起來的網(wǎng)，確保有些人鏈接到你的網(wǎng)站，

使用你的網(wǎng)站名字或者關(guān)鍵字等。一定量的鏈接特別是從有質(zhì)量的網(wǎng)站來的鏈接，都會(huì)幫助你得到比較好的搜

索引擎結(jié)果排列次序（也就是把你的網(wǎng)站放到比較靠前的位置）。當(dāng)寫文章的時(shí)候，確定你鏈接到引用了內(nèi)容

的網(wǎng)站（如果他們是博客，一般來說，一個(gè)來自你的網(wǎng)站的trackback鏈接都會(huì)顯示在他們站點(diǎn)）。另外，在論壇簽名郵件簽名里加入自己網(wǎng)站的鏈接，等等。

13）經(jīng)常更新你的博客
確定經(jīng)常更新你的博客，沒人愿意訪問一個(gè)死氣沉沉的網(wǎng)站。比如可以使用del.icio.us美味書簽或者365key等功能每天把你收藏的鏈接貼出來，這會(huì)讓你的網(wǎng)站看上去活躍。

14）博客名字不能換
保證一直使用同一個(gè)域名、博客名字、永久鏈接地址等等。

15）文章內(nèi)容要有水平
寫高水平的文章，這是最重要的。寫那些人們想要讀的內(nèi)容。固定在某些論題上，主要寫與這些論題有關(guān)的內(nèi)容。有水平的文章也會(huì)讓你在del.icio.us或者Digg.com里得到更多支持。

16）與讀者互動(dòng)
鼓勵(lì)你的訪客給文章留言或者參與到討論中。為了吸引讀者，內(nèi)容最好寫“你應(yīng)該如何如何”，“我們應(yīng)該如何如何”，而不要寫“我已經(jīng)如何如何”，“我想如何如何”。

There is a big bunch of resources on optimizing your blog for search engines. I have tried to

collect the best tips and plugins in this article.

These tips won’t flood your blog with visitors – no SEO tips will. Use these tips to improve

your site, and fight for a lot of backlinks and visitors by writing quality content and putting a

lot of work into it. It has never been easy to run a website, and it for sure isn’t getting

easier.
Permalinks

Use a permalink structure and be sure that the post title is in it. In the WordPress

administration go to Options>Permalinks and select a permalink structure, or make your own. I use

/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/ on this site.
Page titles

The title tag should show the title of the current post or page you are currently visitng. Eg.

this page will have the title ?WordPress and SEO | The undersigned?. In your themes header.php

file you can do this by making sure that the title tag looks like this:

Headers

Search engines weigh headers (h1, h2, h3 …) higher than other content (p, li …), so it is

important that you write good titles that also contains keywords that matches the content. The

best thing is to only have 1-2 h1 tags on each page, eg. the blog title and newest blog post.
Alt tags

Use alt tags for your images, and be sure that they match what the image shows – this helps

google image search and other image search engines.
Tags

The internet is evolving, and in this process tags is the next ?big thing? – using tags makes

sure to keep a lot of cross-linking from posts to posts, which eventually will let search engines

dig deeper into your site.

Related posts

If you read an article on this site, you will notice the recent posts list in the end of each

article. This also helps search engines digging deeper into your site.

Landing sites

When visitors is referred to your site from a search engine, they are definitely looking for

something specific – often they just roughly check the page they land on and then closes the

window if what they are looking for isn’t there. Why not help them by showing them related posts

to their search on your blog.

Google has a feature for webmasters, called Sitemaps. This helps google index your site, and lets

you weigh what content on your site, you find most important.

Pinging aggregators

Use the feed feature! Set up your WordPress to ping a list of aggregators automatically in

Options>Writing. A great list of ping services can be found here.
Valid markup

Be sure that your your site validates, this might not be the most critical point from a SEO point

of view, but it might weigh some.
Avoid this

Google says you should avoid this:

* Avoid hidden text or hidden links.
* Don’t employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
* Don’t send automated queries to Google.
* Don’t load pages with irrelevant words.
* Don’t create pages that install viruses, trojans, or other badware.
* Don’t create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
* Avoid “doorway” pages created just for search engines, or other “cookie cutter” approaches

such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
* Tricks intended to improve search engine rankings.

Get backlinks

Write to your friends, to other bloggers, and trade links with them. Get a linking-network

established, and make sure that some people link back to your site, using your blogs title or

primary keywords as anchor-text. Amount of links and especially links from quality sites, helps

you being placed better in search engines search results. When writing an article, be sure to

link back to your sources (if these are blogs, in most cases, a trackback link to your blog will

be shown on their site). Be sure to link to your blog in forum signatures, mail signatures etc.

Update your blog

Be sure to keep your blog updated – no one visits a dead site. Eventually you can let del.icio.us

post your daily bookmarked links to your blog – this helps making your site look active.

Stick with it

Stick with the same domain name, blog title, permalink structure etc.
Write quality content

Write quality content, it is the most important. Write quality content that people want to read.

Stick to a few topics, and write mainly about those. Quality content might bring you to

del.icio.us and digg.com as well.
Involve the reader

Encourage your visitors to comment on your posts and join the discussion. Involve the reader by

writing to them. ?You should?, ?We could? and less using ?I have?, ?I did? etc.
